"Ruby and Friar John"

Completed 1995
These two clay figures were constructed of "Fimo" clay. I have done several characters in this medium, but these are two of my favorites.
"Ruby" is a sweet forest fairy and works for Mother Nature. Her job is to keep the leaves on the forest floor raked so that the flowers come up every year. "Friar John" is a jolly little man who is known for his vegetable garden, his generosity, and his eggplant and onion soup.
